Monsterwood piece progress 2

HEre is the painting I'm working on for Monsterwood. I hope to have it done by Spectrum. I'm about to start putting down real paint, but I thought I would share this progress... This is the original character sketch of OG: Here is the pencil drawing with a first pass of color.

 It was really dark and muted, so I decided to bring up more color:

Then I thought, what about adding more color, maybe a blue wash:

The Blue wash was too simple, so I deepened it and added more color to the mix....

Now I'm ready to paint
